Obtained the following information from the web:

Norman Resor

TEMPLE, Texas — Norman D. Resor, 95, of Temple, Texas, formerly of Bureau County, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Temple.

Born Nov. 1, 1917, in Glenville, Minn., to Myron S. and Gladys Mack Resor, he was reared and educated in Iowa and was a longtime resident of Bureau County. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad. He owned and operated Resor Music Company in Princeton for many years. He was a member of Belton Nazarene Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. Resor of Temple, Texas; one son, Dennis L. Resor of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Edward Woodbery of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Lauren Green of Pensacola, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gloyd M. Resor.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Belton Nazarene Church in Belton, Texas, with the Rev. Jerry McGuire officiating. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

The Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.

I blieve the photo caption for this article, pages 58 and 59 of the October 2017 issue, is wrong.  Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the station is on the SOUTH side of the tracks, like all such Rock Island stations in Illinois, and thus the Rocket is going from Chicago to Peoria, and not the reverse.
