IIRC, there was also a lot of complaining about CN when Harrison was CEO there. I was privy to inside information on a low level and the mantra was CN was in it only for the long haul and short haul customers be damned because CN, at that point, did not want to deal with anything less than what were basically unit trains from point A to point B.
Scheduled railroading is great as long as cars show up in time to be hooked up to the next train out.Hunter doesn't care if they show up or not.
