Need train numbers and aprox times outta Proviso and division names thank u ahead of time.
Saw a UP/CSX train in Cleve-Collinwood yard with UP-CNW grain and reefer cars could that be a run through Z train to Iowa?
No direct trains. Traffic either has to go via Wisconsin and the Twin Cities, then south or across Iowa via a few yards to connect with a train that terminates or works at Mason City.

But not to Mason City. That west line out of Proviso to Iowa goes to Omaha and Fremont, NE. If the map is from 1968 to the early 1970s, it might show the exCGW going from Chicago to Iowa. That route was severed within a few years and it missed Mason City, too.
90 years ago, the routing may well have been to Chicago to Belle Plaine, Iowa thence north through Dike to Mason City. That has long not been an option.
