Just saw this-- my apologies for the slow reply. After a delay, I'll finally be heading down there this week, so the information will still be useful. Thanks!
As of Sunday things were active on the East end. The track looked like it had been freshly tamped.
Thanks a lot- very helpful!
AFAIK, they're still working most weekdays, starting out of their shop halfway between Mason City and Clear Lake.

The last couple of trips we've made to Minnesota have been on I-35, which crosses the west end of their line near Clear Lake. They have lots of covered hoppers stored there currently.

I will be in the Mason City- Clear Lake, Iowa area next week and was hoping to get a look at the Iowa Traction Railroad, sometimes called "the last of the interurbans."Most of the information I can find is several years old, and mentions a change in ownership about that time.Does anyone have updated information on the road's operations, or be able to point me in the right direction for suggestions as to where and when (or if) it would be possible to get photographs of the electric motive power? Thanks for any help.
