so instead of being good reporters and outing her on her agenda and having that up for debate we are left with damage control now that she is in power.

Instead of a bunch of partisan political crap of little relevance here, why don't you 'out' her 'agenda' on rail-related topics and subjects?

Its seems to me that Trains,Railway Age and Progressive Railroading has gone the way of most industrial magazines like Material Handeling News. Iron Age (Now Gone) and Penton Publishing magazines (see bottom) is more instrested in promoting its advertisers products rather then do objective investigative journalism which just might result in a ad contract being cancelled. Howabout the fact that rairoad unions have been working without a contract for almost 2 years?

Way back in December I contacted the editors of Railway Age and Progressive railroading to do a Story on Elain Chao. They both told me that they will wait untill after she is confirmed. If the Editors of USA Today and the New York Times did the same thing with the Supreme Court Nomninee Gorsuch or any other Presisdential Appointment every nominee would be a slam dunk with no debate.

so instead of being good reporters and outing her on her agenda and having that up for debate we are left with damage control now that she is in power. She has conflicting ties all over the place including being the wife of  obtructionist Sen Mitch McConnell

In February 2017, it was reported by the Associated Press that Chao had been paid five-figure sums by organizations linked to the People's Mujahedin of Iran (aka Mojahedin-e Khalq or MEK), an exile group that was previously described as "cult-like" by the State Department, in exchange for making two speeches in 2015–16.[57][58] The MEK had previously claimed responsibility for the assassination of U.S. Army Lt. Col. Lewis L. Hawkins, the deputy chief of the U.S. military mission to Tehran in 1973.[59] However, the group was delisted as a foreign terrorist organization in 2012, with the US government acknowledging that the organization had renounced violence.[60]
