ARE THIER ANY REAL TIME CHAT ROOMS IN THE NET FOR RAIL ROADERS AND RAIL FANS TO TALK IN....?

I don't know of any but would be interested if there were specific topics. Most of us who share similar interests seem to use AOL Instant Messenger or MSN Messenger to reduce the amount of "babble..." But then, a lot of us are old and can't handle more than one conversation at a time... ;- )

Every now and then in the AOL chat member created lists under Special Interests I have seen a model railroad or train related chat room -- member created means it is not maintained by AOL and might never be seen again. Pure luck of the draw. But WARNING -- the Special Interest section of AOL chat has some of the most, shall we say, UNUSUAL topics and it is easy to get very surprised.
