Prototype "layout" CPR Field BC 1930's
Posted by Isambard on Thursday, December 9, 2004 6:57 PM
I'm looking for a map showing the yard track and servicing facilities layout at CPR's Field station around the mid '30's i.e. roundhouse, coal tower, water tower, ash pit, arrival/departure, auxiliary tracks, power plant etc.
Any help appreciated.

I would try the nice folks over at the Revelstoke museum. They probably have what you are looking for.

I don't know if there's a plan, but for photographs look for "Canadian Pacific in the Rockies", Vols 1-10, published by BRMNA in Calgary. Usually some copies at swapmeets or in hobby shops.
