The Alaska RR auto shuttle thru the tunnel to Whittier seems to have disappeared when the rail tunnel was reconstructed to a rail-and-auto tunnel in 2000. I rode thru the tunnel on a NRHS rail chartered trip in 2013. The train had to wait its turn in the alternating EB road/WB road/rail schedule.
zkr123 Is there a US version of the Channel Shuttle? For example a shuttle between Moffat tunnel or Mullen Pass.

There is nothing like that type of tunnel shuttle here in the USA. As noted by Buslist in his post on this Thread.
The closest thing to having rail transport of personal vehicle in this country is the AMTRAK Auto Train. It operates between the Washington,D.C. area, [actually Lorton ,Va.] and Orlando, Fl.

perhaps the only thing that comes close is the tunnel in Alaska that is part time highway, part time railway.
It used to be that the only way to get a vehicle to Wabush was via rail (QNS&L) still true? But this is in Canada.
