Now that I am thru partying and can think a little straighter...there is a certain Houstonian that works for PTRA who shall remain nameless for sake of privacy that has a New Years Eve Birthday......

So when you are toasting in the New Year, raise one for dear old what's-his-name!

Gotcha!

Sorry, Nameless, you might be on your own this time!

The kitten had to suffer through her own birthday (courtesy of moi) a couple of days ago, and I'm not feeling the slightest bit remorseful.

At least you have the rest of the month to steel yourself!

(I'm looking forward to two Very Important Birthdays this month--one's on the 25th, and the other we're still waiting for!)

Mine is Saturday....[;)][swg]

It's a real pain having a b-day 2 weeks before Christmas, especially as a kid. But now that I've hit the big 4-0(plus a few years)...[|(][banghead]

The only real drawback to having a birthday in December is the tu-for..

Ya know, the gift that comes with the phrase "Merry Christma, oh and Happy birthday too!"....

But at least I have a good excuse to throw a heck of a birthday party!

You're lucky in that regard, Ed--you can have your party and get paid for doing it! There was a time when we all got to claim our birthdays as holidays, but we traded that off for Presidents' Day or something like that.
