I know that you can't have everything but stainless steel (or at least aluminum paint) would have looked better. The number fits, too. It comes after the F7A's (675-677) that were HEP-equipped for the first batch of bi-levels in 1965.
Check out the lead engine. Or trailing, depending on what leg of the trip it's on.

Brian's right about the train being used for other excursions. I recall that they've used them for civic events or fund raisers on occasion.

They don't get used just for that- I know Dan runs a yearly Christmas excursion on his line from Palo up to Vinton and back, and I suspect he uses them for other excursions as well.

Coralville on a map is only about 3 miles from Iowa City. Apparently the train makes multiple trips starting at 7AM for an 11AM kickoff, from what essentially are remote parking lots. Its amazing that they bought their own passenger cars for about 5 home games per year.
