Anyway, this will be a slow restore due to only being home less than a month in total this year between trips.

Well, then look on the positive side. You will have a retirement project waiting for you.Wink

I believe it is an S2, not an ST2. Good luck with your restoration. I have an ex-Algoma Central M19 that I ran on NARCOA meets from 1990 to 2000.

Cool! I was told the two speed transmission makes it a T. Adrianspeeder

If it has a transmission it is indeed an ST. Looks like it has a pully for a belt drive. I didn't realize any belt drive cars had transmissions. Maybe the ST series cars do. MT series cars typically have Onan engines and transmissions while M series have Fairmont engines and belt drive without transmission.

So, Adrian, You drive your Speeder to wherever they need the grass mowed (per last photo?)...Sure looks like a lot of blades need sharpening! Huh?

Yup, but high grass stays greener in the heat.

Well after how many years here, I finally was able to scoop up a Lehigh Valley ST2.

Adrianspeeder, Enjoy your one month per year re-construction. A major project, but definately worth the effert. Thanks for serving in USAF and supporting our country. One of my God-sons is 14 years in USAF, a major in A-10s and my dad was a bombardier in B-24s in the 380th BG 1945. I'm a hardcore USAF fan!! Enjoy your project and thanks again. Bob

Just assembly, not fabrication?

Yup, lots of welding and torching on this unit soon.

Patience is a virture, congratulations and hope you enjoy it.

Oh this will be a slow one for sure.  I've only been home in total less than a month this year between all the trips.

When you get it done, maybe you can come up and run it on our line - NARCOA has done a couple of days of runs here for the past couple of years.

SOME assembly required? Should be a blast when you're done.

Waukesha? Tecumseh? Briggs & Stratton?

Gotta get a bigger parking lot yet?

Looks like a much modified Fairmont "one-lung-er" M-19 from here.

Hopefully you got the stamped builders plate.
