Curiosity...
Posted by CShaveRR on Monday, December 6, 2004 11:59 PM
...may have brought about the demise of many cats, but one very curious kitten is celebrating another year of what we hope is only her first life! It was this curiosity--just like a lovable kid sister who wants to tag along with the big kids--that prompted me to "adopt" her in the first place. I'm one of the lucky ones who's gotten to meet her in person, too.

The forum would definitely not be the same without your inspiring questions and your way with words. Allow me to be the first to greet you on your big day, Sister Jen! Pat and I hope it's enjoyable.

I purposely "muzzled" Joe so it would pass quietly, but forgot to do so to Brother Carl.

I have never been big on birthdays, but guess it is better than the alternative.

Thank you all. And in case you are wondering - I came 2 years after Pearl Harbor. Yes, kiddies, that makes me very old!

Jen

Having started 2 1/2 years earlier, I can tell you that now birthdays come along MUCH faster. You might as well just kick back and have a happy one.

Cher, she's still got over an hour to celebrate in her time zone!

I had a nice phone conversation with her today (as an adoring brother should!). In spite of the fact that she doesn't like birthday celebrations, I wound up feeling like I'd been hugged! For other reasons (check out the diner), I needed that. She's one classy lady!
