Terrific stuff. The picks of all the motive power, from the Pacific Extension, all lined up and stored were haunting. They kept many of their FM switchers and EMD F's almost to the bitter end.
CP knew what a prize they had in the Milwaukee.
CP picked up the Milwaukee Road primarily for the Chicago-Twin Cities main, which was a major improvement over the Soo Line.

I would guess that his 'on the scene' extemporaneous photos of MILW railroaders getting the 'word' that MILW had filed for bankruptcy; are few and far between... Modeler's who have to enjoy the real deal 'kitbashing' that reflect someone's sense of humor [especially the photo of the 'covered wagon unit -'Milwaukeee Rod' on its side; apparently, to 'honor' an negineer nicknamed "Milwaukee Rod". Pretty cool stuff. ]
