those locos look cleaner than any sp unit that I have ever seen, I loved SP, but man did they need to clean their loco's!!

On the 9486 you can read the letters "FX" on the nose. Appearantle this is a CEFX leaser unit. It is great to se clean SP units with full lettering on the side[:D]!!!

#9400-9404 were COTTON BELT tunnel motors.

Mmmmmmmmmmm, Tunnel motors!

I think CEFX renumbered the SD45R from 7486 to 9486. You can see the 9 is whiter than the other numbers. Furthermore, SP never had SD45s, SD45Rs, or SD40M-2s in the 9400 series.
