     My wife and I are buying a little lake cabin on the north edge of Lake Hendricks on the MN/SD border.  In searching things on different maps sites, I found that a branchline of the CNW used to run through the  property on it's way to a dead-end at Astoria SD. The access road is where the track would have been.  I guess that explains why the shoreline in that area wasn't developed until the 60's.
