I got to be quick now, very busy day for me, but I need some good info on the conrail business train and conrail track Maintence trains.
Thanks,
Chris
I guess this isn't going to help you much but I did see the business train going through Kingston, New York about 22 years ago. 3 vintage heavyweight coaches pulled by an E7, I think. Everything was painted dark green. It looked like a classic train.

I had seen pictures of it, don't know what else it could have been. Also, the last coach had an open platform at the back. The coaches looked like they were from the 1920s and may well have been.
do search for Conrail OCS (Office Car Special) it will get you places like this : http://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=35323.0

Might find something at the Conrail Historical Society:
