Same here, never seen it in person, hopefully I'll be able to make it out this year.

See Keith Schmidt's posting elsewhere on this forum about four pages back
See also the CP railroad's website for a schedule.
Quickly on Thursday it will be in Sturtevant WI depot from approx 9 pm to 10 pm for a show then will head to Milwaukee. The next night, in the late afternoon there will be a show at the Brookfield Depot then it heads west to Portage and such.

CP Holiday Train

Hey does anybody know the route of the CP Holiday train in the Chicagoland Area? I know the schedule is from Franklin Park then to Gurnee, than to somewhere in Wisconsin on December 9th. I am curious how the train is going to get to Gurnee. Would head in towards Union Station on the Milwaukee District West Line, hit the wye near Cortland and Sprinfield and then head up north on the Milwaukee District North Line and pass through the junction at Mayfair? Does somebody else know another possible roue?
