Does anybody know the story about the jumpover that I learned that existed in Colonia New Jersey circa 1860-1913? It is a very interesting fact. What purpose did it serve and why was it removed?
Built around 1916-- a thru truss carrying track 1 over the gap where the planned freight line from Morrisville was to connect to the main line. Freight line was never built and the flyover was taken out around ...1930? But a couple of Barriger pics show it.
I see but at what exact point was this bridge located?
If you've seen the pic in Triumph V, your guess is as good as anyone's. Most likely the milepost in the pic (at the NE end of the bridge) is 21, since 22 is on a curve.
