The September 1989 issue of Trains Illustrated had a good shot of a train crossing this bridge (pages 14-15).

Before getting into the argument about the merits of a bike trail versus UP scrapping the bridge, please know that (1) the bridge has been in the raised position, not usable for any traffic, since the line was abandoned; and (2) there is a highway bridge not far from this bridge, on which provision has been made for the bike trail.
