Time-Lapse Cab Ride Video of Piedmont Improvement Program Construction in North Carolina

A quick search didn't reveal any existing threads on this topic, so here it goes. Mainly I wanted to share the video below, but I decided it'd be better to provide some background information first.

The Piedmont Improvement Program is a series of federally funded railway improvement projects between Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. This link will take you to a video describing the improvements. A recent Raleigh News & Observer article discusses the ongoing projects that are improving passenger rail in North Carolina. The North Carolina Department of Transportation has released a time-lapse video of the trip between Raleigh and Charlotte, highlighting all the construction taking place along the way. The video was taken from the cab of the mid-day Piedmont (75).
