The BNSF abandoned the warbonnet. Arguably the most recognizable paint scheme in all of railroading and they ditched it.

Nice Photos the UP has the nicest paint scheme in railroading today.
What ever happened to the Warbonet paint? Did BNSF get rid of that tradition?

I shot this picture on old Route 66 in Arizona. still dont know what this UP train was doing on the BNSF transcon. maybe he made a wrong turn[:D]


these 2 shots have been entered into evidence. several BNSF locomotives were kidnapped and found running on the UP line in Nebraska.
