How accurate are the Altamont Press time tables?

I'm thinking of purchasing the California Time Table #19.

For California, issue #20 with a copyright of March 2009 is the last revision. David Curlee is no longer revising the timetables. He is selling his remaining inventory via Altamontpress.com. You may find the #20 issue in a retailer's remaining unsold inventory. David used around 40 contributors to provide information for the last California Region issue. Accurate? Information is 6 years old. Rail lines and mile posts for the most part are still there. Maybe some are now operated by shortlines. Locomotive rosters have changed. Maybe a radio frequency here and there have changed. Even being dated, the information is very helpful.
