Look at MILW's ICC Valuation Dockets (Val Doc 1072/ ICC Bound Valuation Dockets Volume 44, page 441) ...It shows up in the list of 178 component railroads at #80, Incorporated April 9, 1880 and sold to MILW on 3/1/82, so it couldn't be much)...The Valuation Dockets have a description of the line's construction. (Only shows it at 2.00 miles long when MILW got it.)

Happy brain damage and maybe a trip to the Milwaukee Public Library's special collections. (Does it show up in Poor's Manual circa 1880-1883?)

Stillwater & Hastings RR?

I can't find much information about this line. All I can find is 5 miles built before the Milwaukee Road bought it. Built in 1880? Came into Stillwater from the south. (I can't find any pictures of it besides the Stillwater Freight House). I think the CNW paralleled it into downtown but I'm not sure what year that line came in. The 1st Stillwater line came in from the north in 1870.
