CP Holiday Train
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 22, 2004 2:46 PM
Well its that time of year for my posting of this again, but every year I learn how to do it lazier and lazier - see age does has its privileges...lol!

I'm hoping this link works. The schedule will be at the bottom of the page for both countries. And Vancouver - as the best place to live (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) has the final train arriving here.

Happy Season's Greetings One and All,
May all your steam dreams come true,
May all the track you need be available in the code you need.

And you railfans, maybe all your hard to find stock go rolling by.

Going to have to get out and see it this year, I've still never made it out to see it in person.

Make every effort to see this train. It is a wonderful sight on a dark night. The entertainment was also good quality if you are lucky enough to be near a stop. At Sturtevant WI they asked everyone to bring food for the local food pantry - small price to pay for the chance to see this train.

This will be my first year seeing it too, I can't wait. I'm going to catch it tommarrow night in Portage WI. BTW, are we supposed to bring a canned good donation with us for the local charity, or just monetary donations?
