mudchicken The dogs most likely did not get the 42" up from the ground to car floor height. Maybe ASPCA ought to go after the idiot humans along with the cops. Sad

Sad
As much as I have liked dogs, I would not want to inflict such dangerous mode of travel on them. A few years ago, a man was traveling with his dog near here--in a car loaded with pipe; the pipe shifted; the man was injured and the dog was killed.

(AP) — Five people face trespassing charges after a CSX Corp. agent spotted them hitching a ride on a freight train in Berkeley County. All five defendants also are charged with jumping on or off a car or train in motion. Both charges are misdemeanor. Media outlets report that CSX special agent Donald H. Buracker said in a criminal complaint that he saw the defendants and two dogs riding on the ends of two rail cars Thursday night near Hedgesville. Buracker contacted the train's crew and Martinsburg police. The train stopped and four people were removed. The other person jumped off before the train stopped and walked up to the officers. If convicted, each person could face up to 30 days in jail and $525 in fines. I wonder what the dogs are being charged with?
