It was on Yahoo news. Bus driver had a "heart attack" and passengers' quick action avoided disaster. Apparently, some ended riding Amtrak north from florida to NY as planned.

A real tragedy was avoided by quick thinking passengers. My heart goes out to the family of the deceased driver.
Now I have one question How come passenger trains engineers and and bus drivers are permitted to work past age sixty when airline pilots must retire at sixty its mandatory? Should the NTSB be examining this fact and should RR engineers and bus drivers be required to retire at sixty the same as airline pilots.

CNN: See an End . . . . Thank God we didn't have more fatalities than we did, hmmm I wonder who's going to investigate this mishap?
"There is nothing in life that compares with running a locomotive at 80-plus mph with the windows open, the traction motors screaming, the air horns fighting the rush of incoming air to make any sound at all, automobiles on adjacent highways trying and failing to catch up with you, and the unmistakable presence of raw power. You ride with fear in the pit of your stomach knowing you do not really have control of this beast." - D.C. Battle [Trains 10/2002 issue, p74.]

Heart attacks can happen at any age although they do get more prevalent as we get older!
