I have heard that when a train stops, a crew member is required to walk the length of the train and perform a brake inspection. Is this accurate? Is the inspection required whenever a train comes to a complete stop? While the safety benefits are apparent, it seems that this creates an amazing operational impediment to moving 'em down the road. <br /> <br />Thanks for your help. - Ed
