Thats the photo Mike. I guess your right. It just seems very pronunced compaired to the loco behind, though being an AC4400CW (I think!) its much newer.
Being from the UK, and not being able to see them for real, I'm still getting used to how US locos look. We don't have anything that long over here. The nearest we get is our class 66 - Built by EMD, based on the SD70.

When using a telephoto lens, the image gets compressed. It looks worse than it really is. Sometimes frames do sag a little with age.

Hi All, Having just bought myself an 'N' scale Kato model of UP's SD9043 # 8242 I thought I'd try and find some photos on the net of the real thing.[:)]
I found a few shots at railpicture.net and two of them appear to show this loco with a huge bend in the frame![:0]
Its obviously still safe to operate or UP wouldn't be still using it.
Can anyone tell me how this happened? Is this the result of accident damage or a known problem with other SD90's?
