Whadda do?

If you are running your train and have to use the bathroom? If you are the conductor, it would be simple...but what about an engineer?

Stop the train? Or just wait for the next red block?

It depends on the situation. Most of the time the engineer just waits for when we stop, which is quite often on the runs to Chicago. If we're running the whole time the engineer waits for an opportune time when there are no crossings or signals for about a mile or two and will ask the conductor to pu***he alerter, IF, it goes off. 99% of the time I never have to get out of my seat. In a wide cab the conductor has a horn button on their side and can pu***hat to shut the alerter up.

i just make sure i got a clear block... and no crossings that i need to blow for..and i go take a leak ..and come back to the seat...now if i have to make a setoff...i try and wait untill i have to stop someplace... and if that isnt possable...i stop the train.... since im the only one that is legaly alowed to run it... if i have to step out of the office...we stop.... now if im working with a conductor that is an engineer that has flowed back..since he has a card..i ask them to run while i make a set off....
