Brian Schmidt Now why does the username for Dave Nelson in the caption not match the username he posted the photo under.....? I think we have an imposter!

If that's an impostor, he isn't working alone...it has to be two or three guys standing on top of each other!

The gang from Model Railroader photobombed us.
We also missed having Kalmbach's Mary Graf in the photo, as she has been from time to time, but we did get a chance to chat with her on Sunday.

2014 TRAINS.Com Forum Trainfest Gathering by kschmidt626, on Flickr
Those in attendance
Back Row Left to Right - Brian Schmidt (Associate Editor TRAINS Magazine), Mike Yanke (wsor3801), Dave Nelson (engine 1385), Keith Schmidt (kschmidt626)
Front Rom Left to Right - Carl Shaver (CShaveRR), Mike Yuhas (Advertising Sales Manager TRAINS), Steve Sweeney (Associate Editor TRAINS Magazine), Greg Turinette (Northwoods Flyer).
Had a great time at the show today. The Messrs. Schmidt flew us all in. Mike Yuhas was a special guest this year, and we just missed out on Andy Cummings, and Avery, one of his short-Cummings. I hope to see the picture soon!
I plan on being there with the same "Trains.com Forums" sign we've been using for years. Keith and I have been looking through our files and we think this all started in 2005, if true making this the tenth such gathering.
I should be able to make it to the picture. Our group is slated to be right next to Kalmbach this year (unless it changes between now and the show).

I hope Pat and I will be able to attend this year again. We've gotten it down to an annual routine...quilt museum Friday, Duplainville Saturday morning, Trainfest for a picture and a look around, then home, sometimes with dinner at Apple Holler. It would be nice if some of the Trains staff would be able to get into the picture. Think they could be persuaded?
For the past several years starting in 2008 I think. Interested members of the TRAINS.com forum and actually any of the Forums hosted by Kalmbach publishing have met for a photo at the Kalmbach booth at Trainfest. I realize that Trainfest in Milwaukee, WI is only a week away but I thought we would try it again.
We usually ask that Forum members meet at the Kalmbach publishing booth at 12noon on Saturday. This year is no different and the date would be Saturday November 8th. 12noon. We also try and get either the TRAINS magazine or Model Railroader magazine person to join us in the photo. Below are some shots from the past years. Some aren't of the best quality but what the heck.
