CSX doesn't have cabooses.....they have shoving platforms.

The may look the same, but they aren't.

It's used on the local jobs that start out of Riverton. Some of them have backup moves to protect. It sat unused in Glenwood for several years.

C&O Caboose Near Pittsburgh

On Tuesday (11/2) I was going over a CSX yard (Riverton?) in McKeesport, PA. I looked down and saw an old C&O caboose - still in the blue w/yellow trim paint scheme - sitting in the yard. Does anyone know anything about this caboose (i.e. where it came from, where it may be going, etc...)?

Thanks
