OvermodIf I understand the discussion on RyPN correctly, the difficulty involved a 'driving while impaired' accident that has caused significant physical harm to at least one person.
From the NRHS Suncoast Chapter's Winter 2014 newsletter:
"NRHS has been named as a party in a legal action filed by a 2012 Rail-Camp Northwest (State of Washington) candidate who was seriously injured in an automobile accident during that time and place."
Apparently there is also some news about New Rochelle High School in the search results. I wonder if Richie Petrie is interested in that?
ChuckCobleigh Just Google "NRHS lawsuit" for more information than you really want to know.

Bob Thatcher In various articles, discussions, posts etc., mention has been made of a lawsuit against the National Railway Historical Society and how it further threatens its already precarious financial situation. What are the background details of this litigation? What is its current status? I was surprised to read of the financial threat. I thought this is why organizations carry both liability insurance and Directors and Officers (aka Errors and Omissions) insurance. Bob Thatcher

BOb,
Can you show us a reference to those articles? I did a search and came up empty, but as suggested, there is one against NHRS (New Hampshire Retirement System). NRHS? NHRS?
Norm
OK it's not April 1st, I think! The lawsuit is against the New Hampshire Retirement System.
