Nothing has been officially announced, only railfan rumor. As an aside, CSXT 4598 a SD80MAC, was released from Waycross today in fresh CSX paint.
An "expensive model collector"
Mr. Cole, the story is that NS has obtained, or will obtain CSX's SD80MACs. It apparently hasn't happened just yet. When it does, NS will have reunited all of the SD80MACs, which were originally operated by Conrail. An aside: Before NS became interested in AC power, wasn't there a rumor that CSX was going to get the SD80MACs from NS? I seem to remember something like that.

Most likely a pool power or run-through agreement locomotive -- I see CSX, NS, and many other road's locomotives here in Arizona mixed into Union Pacific trains.
Saw a sd80 mac in Deshler saturday. Not sure of the transfer date to NS.
