Look for Transport Tycoon Deluxe !WINDOWS!

When their, look for ftp://ttdx:ttdx@noorderjik.demon.nl/TTD/TTDX setup.exe

it is third up from the bottom. Then look for configuator editor, and install it to the same folder that the game is on. Open the Transport Tycoon Deluxe Configuator and when it says would you like to download patch # 37, say yes. Then go to help and click for TTDXC update. If their is one, say yes, and either wait or unzip it. Select all options.

[b]WHEN DEALING WITH FREIGHT TRAINS. CLICK ON THE INDUSTRY STATION AND SELECT LOAD, THEN WHEN YOU WANT TO UNLOAD. DO NOT SET IT TO UNLOAD. JUST CLICK ON THE STATION AND LEAVE IT!!!!!!!!! WITH PASSENGERS, JUST EITHER CLICK LOAD, OR LET IT BE!!!!!!!!!!

Transport Tycoon is a great game, especially if you "cheat" and set up an environment (you can build your own) that's going to be favorable for rail. Start out with trucks and buses to develop some cash flow, then get the trains running. Haven't played in a while, but I do enjoy it.

I play Railroad Tycoon 2 often. I don't like it because I am constantly struggling to increase capacity to keep up demand and you can't use more than 6 cars. Not very prototypical and mean I have tremendous amount of conjestion. Willard Sub between Fostoria and Chicago is 6 tracks (double track from Walbridge, double track from Willard and double track from Marion).

I'm not a gamer, but the following write-up in PC World magazine got me to thinking some of you might like it. This a quote from the 10/19/04 newsletter of PC World Magazine; the link is also supplied by the magazine article.

Keep the Trains Running On Time

Taking a spin from dictator to director, Atari's $30 Locomotion (the latest in a series of games by sim-whiz-kid Chris Sawyer) puts you in control of a city's public transportation system. You're charged with helping people move hither and thither, and making sure goods can get from one part of the city to another, using whatever means are at your disposal---and there are a lot of them. But you're no goodie two-shoes, either: You have to ruthlessly out-transport the competition or you'll end up in a soup kitchen instead of living large as a railroad robber-baron.

The game starts at the turn of the 20th century. Coal-fired steam trains are all the rage, but new technologies continuously emerge that make transporting people and goods faster, cheaper, and cleaner. Unlike the classic SimCity games, in which you build both the city and the network of roads people use, in Locomotion you build your transportation networks and hubs, and the cities grow up around them.

Before long, clunky steam trains give way to a multitude of other options, from heliports to hovercraft. All the while, you manage the whims of competing interests: Businesspeople want an airport for small planes near the financial center; suburban homeowners need a quick way to get to work, but don't want noisy overhead rail lines near their homes. At the same time, your competitors vie to put you out of business; you can play against the computer or head-to-head against another player online.

The game is out now, and you can grab a 31MB demo version from our Downloads section:

Uzupator, where have you been?
I got banned from the TTForums, so I am working here.[;)]
So, do you like the engines?
And what happened to you on TTForums?
Hey, can you also tell Krtaylor about this, please?

Their is a game called Transort Tycoon Deluxe Patch. It has graphic files liable grf. One of the graphic files that keeps getting updated is called USSET.grf. I am a contributer to this graphic. Look at www.tt-forums.net. Then choose the TTDPatch graphics on the front screen. Then click on Usset Dvelopement. Here is what I am working on now. I am repainting a set of Chessi System engines with the Union Pacific United Way.

I got banned because everyone was ganging up on me. But if you see a guy with a The J oarenge and green engine with a code name of B52, that is me.
