Lots of trains yesterday

I decided to railfan on Norfolk Southern's ex-Conrail Lehigh Line (which runs from Bound Brook, NJ to Allentown, PA) yesterday.
The first train we saw was the 21E at 7:53(AM), power was a C40-9W and ex-SP SD40M-2. 19 minutes later, the 212 passed with a UP SD70M, CSX C40-8W, and another CSX C40-8W (this one was an ex-LMS unit). Right after that, the 24Z passed with an SD70, C40-8, and C40-8W, all but the C40-8 were in Conrail Blue. At 9 the 21M passed with a Primer C40-9W (# was 9900) and an SD60M. At 9:19, the 214 went through with a UP SD70M, C40-9W, SD60, and another C40-9W, the SD60 was in Conrail paint. The last train of the day was at 10:11, it had an SD70M, C39-8, and SD45-2 (all are rare on this part of NS).

I went out yesterday and saw the 19G with two LMS C40-8W's (one NS and CSX), a CSX YN2 C40-8W, and UP SD70M. 070 (CSX detour) had two CSX AC4400CW's (one YN3, one YN2.

In the early 90s the Lehigh Line, into Newark from Bound Brook on, was unstoppable. It was always full of trains. Conrail started to do work and messed with train times and it became unreliable. My last several times down there I saw nothing.
