Their largest RR in PA is the former Conrail Clearfield cluster. It's a combination of ex-PRR and NYC branches. They have connections to NS on the Buffalo line at Keating PA and on the Pittsburgh line at Cresson PA. This group also includes the former CR Irvona secondary which also branches from the NS Pittsburgh line at Cresson. These branches served mostly coal mines.

Corman also operates some industrial tracks in Allentown PA.

OK,I do sit corrected on the fact rjc does run into Tn.
It seems most of the traffic generated there comes from
Logan Aluminum Co.,north of Russellville,Ky(mostly ingots)
and come toward the Louisville area.
Along with "Ghost Railroads of Tn",there is also "Ghost Railroads of Ky".
which are both VERY informative. I use mine quite often.

BTW,there have been several articles in "Train" and "R & R"
Magazines on rjc about this.[:)]

Looking at their Short Line section, it appears that they operate about 1/2 of the old L&N Memphis line from Boling Green Ky to Ckarksville TN. I don't remember when the Ky Lakes dams were built on Tennessee & Cumberland rivers near Paducah KY. It appears that the Memphis line was separated then.
A good book to find is Ghost Trains of TN. It lists abandoned ROW. You should also be able to find the places named on a good atlas or State highway map.

Andrew,

Since you've already been to the web site,I would try U.S.G.S.,or some of the
others(who's name escape me right now) My Ky Atlas & Gazetter by DeLorme
shows the lines here in Ky. We have a couple to the south of us,ex L & N; plus
they have trackage rights through here on CSX.

I'm not totally positive about this, but I don't believe they have anything in Tn.
but derailment service centers[:)]

Hello all,

I'm trying to find decent maps on this shortline. I particularly am interested in the lines in Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

I went to their website and find that their own maps are too small and unreadable. Could anyone direct me to a good map?
Andrew
