I have a really dark poem that I wrote for a project. The assignment was to make a poem that describe anger or rage from the point of someone so I chose the devil since it was close to Halloween. It is rather gruesome; worse than Into the Underworld. I don't know if people will want to hear it so I will ask you the forum members for permission first.

its halloween
lets go back to a time and place
where all railroads were in a race
where if your town had one it true
but if it had two my how it grew[:)]

some men grumble some complain
that they had to wait
for the other lines train[:(!]

there was a signal man tall and stout
but one night his latern did blow out[:0]

with the wind at a gale and very heavy rain
there was no way the crew could see the other lines train[:(]

needless to say there was a terrible crash cars were broken windows smashed[:(]
innocent people were hurt and killed. both the railroads weren't exactly thrilled[:(!]

the signal men was fired there on the spot and trouble followed him more than alot[B)]
a month later a court found him not guilty of that terrible mess but he had been buried in his military unifrom full dress[:(]
so lets fast forward up to today there is only one railroad now 2 tracks each way.
a mother and son driving in a fog and mist
with a van stalled at a crossing and a busted hose that hissed[:0]
she got out with not much to say cause her ears told her a train was coming her way![:0]
she frantically ran to the other side of the van where she saw a shadow of someone and screamed"help me if you can!!!!"[:0]
so the shawdow went down the line where the crew could see
a bright red latern waving by a tree
both said"oh crap" and the brakes squeeled and hissed
the engineer was worried the conductor was(well y'know[:(!])

the train got stopped five feet from the van and left all wondering who was that man?[;)]
boo[8]
have fun stay safe
Joe and Matt
