Tom - thanks for this post. Most Christmas stuff should be through the docks by now. I know the article mentioned Seattle and Oakland - but Oakland is also very congested. I do know that some shippers are unloading containers in Mexico and forwarding to the east coast through Larado TX.

Complicating things: The rail systems that transport most of the goods out of the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports have been mired with backlogs, labor shortages and a lack of equipment.
