unused Mexican E-60s

Watched them truck Amtrak 966 and 968 to Lake Powell/Page from Bernallilo, NM in the fall of 1986. Assume they are going to or already have done the same with the Mexican units....
Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west

I heared that the Navajo Mine Railroad has scrapped all of its three E60 electrics they bought from Amtrak a few years ago.

What kind of engines do they use now? New electrics or diesels?

Thanks,
