Randy, like Mook, have never been there. But it sounds real good from your
description. Got any pictures?

Simply put, It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Northern Maine is really wild wilderness . Maine has pretty mountain vista's with clear rivers and lakes. The fall colors were unbelievable !!!! I think the good lord spent some time here working on the colors !!!
The RR here is like some thing from the early 1900s. Most of the coaling towers still stand and appear to be ready for service. I don't think they ever scrap anything here.
thanks Mook
Randy

Are they still on 26,000 lbs rail too?

Randy - how is Maine as a new home? And since I probably won't get there in this lifetime, what's it like? (Just do a Mookie Quickie - don't need a 12 page report!)
