Nice shot, Chris! North Station can be difficult to shoot in, but rewarding when you make it work.
Boston is a fun town to shoot in. There's lots of variety and plenty of challenging photos to be made. I don't do much railfanning outside of work (I'm a full-time photographer and journalist) but I do have a few spots on public property that I've enjoying working at! I'd be happy to send along recommendations if you're interested -- just let me know!
Wonderful shot! You nailed the atmosphere. I like the angle, especially since you captured the rather oddly arranged station, and managed to avoid all the pillars!
(BTW, I really enjoyed your 09:17 shot. I'm not sure why, but I like it. Perfect composition.)
I haven't been shooting very much train stuff lately, but I did get this shot of the "T" Orange Line from the Green Line Platform at North Station in Boston:

As always, C&C is more than welcome. Eventually I may need to get some input on railfanning New England, too. I'll say that there's about a 60% chance I'll be calling Boston or the surrounding areas "home" sometime in the near future. But that's a story for another day.
