Oh, those Canatians!

Congratulations, and thanks, Mark, for all of the insight you provide. I always look forward to your weighing in on someone's post, as I know I'll come away with more knowledge than I went in with. At least in most cases--there are maybe three (or is it now four?) exceptions [;)].

Congrats Mark

You are generally right on target to the realities of today's railroad business.

I have a problem with all this. I sent in my application to be a member of the MW Hemphill Fan Club (state of incorporation: Arkansas), oh, about six weeks ago and have yet to receive my official wallet-size membership card, commemorative line pole insulator and free Bearcat scanner. Oh, and the certificate for a cab ride on the railroad of my choice, that's not arrived either.

Mark, what in the name of Isambard Kingdom Brunel is going on?

I won''t congratulate Mark until...

I will withold congratulations until...he stands just north of the tunnel at Winslow, Ark., observing a southbound A&M Ft. Smith turn cresting the grade, five C420s in Run-8 and reports back what it looked and sounded like.

Or closer to home, stand at that grade crossing just north of the A&M yard at Springdale and observe the passing of the northbound Monett turn. If locomotives make music, those Alco 251s, pulling in unison, sound a hymn...

Jeez, Mark, it's in your backyard now! I have to make a change of planes to experience that.

Silly silly people,

He dosn't type that fast...

He has all the answers, to all the questions, already written out in Microsoft Word, in a fill in the blank format...

Geeze, he was the editor at Trains, for goodness sakes, you dont think he let all that computer power, time and resources go to waste, did ya?

Congrat's Mark.!
