Sort -of related question...... How does Acela in Microsoft Train Simulator compare to the real thing? Was wandering if Microsoft did their homework or if it wasn't even close.

Yes, they have to.
E-mail Rick Gates if he doesn't respond to this topic in a reasonable time; there are at least a couple of forum participants with direct experience in this.

i was wondering if amtrak had specially trained engineers for the acela service and electrified service.
