....Our Muncie paper indicated a few days ago that we had the driest September ON RECORD. Had very little rain in July and August and our lawn {which is treated}, was brown as could be. My rain gauge indicated 1.7" of rain total this last day or so and our grass is already starting to get some green in it. We have wells here in our area and I was more than a little concerned with how the water table has been holding up but looks like we made it through...Of course we need more but at least what we did get is a start. Today just overcast and it gets pretty bright at times and we had heavy fog this morning but no rain today so far...Doubt if we get any today either. But as I said, it's a start.

You're on,it's waiting for you now. I don't guess you've been to the diner for awhile,I
posted that we had,had some rain yesterday, and was wondering if you had gotten
any. After 39 +days without,we had almost an inch yesterday and drizzle all day
today and calling for more of the same tomorrow.[:D]

Quinton, congratulations on your fifth star. It'll take me FOREVER to get to
that point. Come to the Depot Diner and have a slice of chocolate cake
and ice cream to celebrate.

....Now Adrian you're the diesel man...I like horsepower but I suppose we both know torque is what moves us out at the stoplight....Guess I'll stick with my little S-10 SS 4.3 to "play" with and the 3.0L to do the travel stuff.....Good luck in school...and thanks to all for the comments. Didn't know stars were so popular. We'll try to treat them well.

Wow...! Didn't realize stars drew so much attention....Thank you all. Railroading and railroads have been a keen interest of mine since an early age...{a long time ago when steam was still king}. Ha. And the interest is still there. I enjoy reading the varied sorts of rail news and other stuff on here and try to contribute as well and my goal is to do it with fairness and a civil attitude. Always. We do have a varied group of talents that populate this forum and it's very interesting and fun.
