Does anyone know where I can find a large map of the system, or more information about it?

If you mean a paper copy, try the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden (www.crrm.org).

yeah, the CRRM has it (them) and if you cant get there in person, you can order it from them, and have it sent to you. also there is a book titled something like "Tracking Ghost Railroads in colorado", that i have, and it even includes where and how you can get to the old abandond right of ways by 4wd jeep! this was helpful to my family in finding the famed Mears junction East of the Tennasee pass. (our last name is Mears) and the old, steep logging rr type track used on the moffat tunnel route before and during the tunnel was constructed.

I freelance-model the D&RGW and the website below has turned into one of my favorites. It's well done, very informative and most of all, has lots of pictures.

Hope this helps.
