Pacific Harbor Lines (ex-SP) reconnected near Wilmington Wye

This line, which runs along the west side of Alameda Street in Wilmington, was cut for about a 1-1/2 years between Wilmington Wye and the former BNSF crossing. The track was rebuilt within the past two months, although it now has a chain link fence along both sides of it.
The line had been cut to allow construction of the Pacific Coast Highway (Ca. 1) bridge over this single-track line and the nearby triple-track BNSF crossing. The right-of-way was used for a temporary intersection and then trailer staging area. Construction of the highway bridge had been left out of the Alameda Corridor construction project.
