BNSF Executive Train ran over Cajon Pass
Posted by M636C on Friday, May 31, 2013 10:59 AM

Yesterday at 13:28 I saw the BNSF executive train heading East at Devore. It was made up:

ES44AC4 6681 (really clean!)

Snoqualmie Pass (HEP Car) PS

Rollins Pass (Sleeper) PS

Topeka (Business car, platform enclosed)

Lake Superior (Diner)

Mountain View (Coach) PS

Glacier View (full length dome/inspection)

The cars marked PS are Pullman Standard, the others Budd.

After a quick drive on 215, 15 and 138, I managed to see it again at Summit.

I recently found a photo of the "Desert Wind" with a Dash8-32BWH in the same location from many (18?) years ago
