In the second accident the driver and a passenger had to be removed from their car with the jaws of life and were then transported to a hospital.

Nothing is known about the driver or any other people involved in the first accident because the driver left the scene of the accident and has not been found.

Two separate car-train accidents involving the same train happened on Sunday afternoon in Floyd County, with two people being taken to the hospital. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department says 20-year-old Cole Leitch of Forest City was southbound about a mile west of Rudd when he failed to yield at a railroad crossing, with the vehicle being struck by a westbound Canadian Pacific train.

Uncommon, but not that unusual.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
