For those who have never done so, and who may be interested, I entered Google Earth, typed 'Hotel Roanoke, VA' in the search box, and when the system got my view to something like it would appear at about five thousand feet or so, I used the tool at upper right to bear down hard until the view was about 200' up. The view is remarkably clear, and the white camera housing on the overhead walk way nearest the hotel is clearly visible and well defined.
I thought maybe some of you keen fans of the view might want to try it out for yourselves.
