Posted by Mookie on Friday, September 3, 2004 1:16 PM
to all the people on this forum. I am leaving in an hour for 3 days of train watching. Going to buy a big pencil and lots of paper to take tons of unreadable notes.

Everyone be careful and come back in one piece.

Til Tuesday

Mookie, enjoy the fabulous aroma of diesel exhaust....like Robert Duvall said in "Apocolypse Now"..."I love the smell of diesel exhaust in the morning" (or something like that anyway)...stay safe and have fun!

Mookie,

Is there going to be that many trains to watch this weekend? My experience is that there is not so, I didn't even think to go watch them and thought I would do some work that I should have been doing while I am on line here.

In any event, good hunting, and have a safe enjoyable trip. Remember, if your watching the trian, you are not watching the road; but if you are watching the train and the road at the same time, you had probably ought to get in a ditch.

...Good holiday wishes to all...and lets pray for the people still in the path of the terrible weather approaching Florida.
